Homemade chocolate pudding has been forgotten about and we have no idea why. Making pudding from scratch is surprisingly simple and so satisfying. With little effort, you'll have a smooth, creamy pudding. It's the perfect make-ahead dessert for dinner guests or just to have in your fridge. PREPARATION TIME:15mins.
INGREDIENTS
3 cups of full-fat milk.
4 tsp of cornstarch.
4 tsp of cocoa powder.
100 gms of dark chocolate/ 1 slab.
4 tsp of fresh cream.
1 cup of sugar
pinch of salt
COOKING TIME:20mins.
LET'S GET STARTED.....!!
STEP1: Take a pan use a siever to sieve the 4 tsp cocoa powder, 4 tsp cornstarch, and a pinch of salt.
STEP2: Add 1 cup of sugar and mix it in on low flame.
STEP3: Add the 3 cups of milk in portions and keep on mixing until fully combined.
STEP4: Once the mix starts to thicken add 4 tsp of fresh cream and 1 slab of dark chocolate and mix until fully combined and there are no lumps left.
STEP5: Transfer it into a big bowl or you can also add them small bowls for single servings this recipe serves about 6-8 small bowls. For the pudding let it cool it at normal temperature and then put it in the fridge for 3-4 hours or 24 hours for better consistency.
STEP6: Garnish with chocolate shavings and it is ready to serve!
